Telecommunications Engineer with more than 20 years as an ICT professional. With experience both in private companies (e.g., Ericsson or Movistar) and in the public sector, I'm currently mainly focused on innovation consultancy, specialising in highly technological environments (AI, IoT, Blockchain, etc.) applied to a wide variety of sectors (health, mobility, security, finance, creative cultures, etc.). My activity focuses on EU programmes (Horizon Europe, EIC Accelerator, Eurostars, etc.) and on USA initiatives (SBIR/STTR). My technical training and experience are complemented by specific communication and innovation management training. I combine my professional activity with a multitude of collaborations with various organisations. For example, I am an evaluator of Erasmus+, StandICT, ONTOCHAIN, etc. proposals. I am also a member of the European Parliament's expert group on ICT science communication (specifically in the provision of science communication articles on "Potential challenges of the information society, new technologies and artificial intelligence"). I have been recently hired as an associate professor at the Complutense University of Madrid, where I teach several subjects related to computational (NLP-related) linguistics.
