Résumé
News is a message with a particular cognitive character, which results from the combination of implicit and explicit forms of two types of information, the before- known information and the entirely new information. The diverse mass communication media (press, radio and TV) use their technical specific conditions to propose to the news reader complex cognitive operations such as the simultaneity of analytical and synthetical activities, simultaneity of remembering and innovating information or guessing of analytical components after very synthetic propositions. Reading news constitutes a complex cognitive activity which on one hand reinforces the dynamic of making news and on the other hand reinforces the reflexive goal of its relationship, being its finality to facilitate the continuity of the same praxis of reading news
