Abstract
Based on the Jung¿ psychological types and Russell L. Ackoff and Fred Emery prior investigations, the researchers are seeking the reasons of young people drinking in a group on weekends. Posing five hypotheses, and after administering a questionnaire to 625 youths of four Spanish cities -Madrid, Valencia, Oviedo and Albacete- they believe that the hypotheses are confirmed. They complete their research with a number of additional findings. Both the specific conclusions as the general could serve as a basis for the institutions that organize communications plans to address adequately the practice of drinking group in their personal, social and environmental aspects.
