Abstract
The vocabulary of female labour, absent from the pages written on Italian tradition, was somewhat overlooked in the nineteenth century in the lexical coding that could be applied to other trades. With the aim of recovering this aspect of useful reality –necessary and valuable in the lives of all Italians–, the teacher, Angiolina Bulgarini, prepares a glossary of terms in the national and unitary language, as a didactic instrument that favours the lexicon learning process of her young female students.
