Zusammenfassung

This article presents a critical appreciation on learning-teaching models which are commonly used in Medical Schools. Different types of subjects, integrated and coordinated teaching as well as acquisition of skills are analysed together with the most important elements education, such as students, professors, and methods of education, stressing those which stimulate active student participation.
