Resumen

CASEOUS lymphadenitis (CLA) is a chronic infectious disease caused by Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis. It has been suggested that, due to antigenic similarities between this bacterium and mycobacteria, infection with C pseudotuberculosis can interfere with the diagnostic testing for tuberculosis (TB). This experimental study aimed to test this hypothesis in goats. Thirteen goats from a TB-free herd that had no history of Johne's diseases or CLA infection were selected for the study.
