Resumen

The consideration of the Spanish economy as one of the most affected by the recent global financial crisis of 2007 encourages the analysis of his performance against such a disturbance without forgetting both the prior evidence and the historical conditions. Of the full study, we can deduce as the arrears, the historical conditions and the bad detection against such disturbance have resulted in a labor market which, together with achieving the historical record of job destruction in 2013, presented an atypical resistance labor participation result of the dominance added worker effect about the discouraged worker effect. In the financial sector, deregulation and low interest rates of the previous era promoted a speculative bubble in the real estate that caused the bankruptcy of many banks and European stocks. In relation to public finances, the uncontrolled growth of public spending has given way to an era of obsession reduction, despite structural difficulties to achieve the objectives set by Brussels. Finally, the comparison with the Irish economy allows us to understand how Spain is not the only major affected by the recent crisis. However, its previous and later performance it makes its imbalances are today closer to correct.
