Abstract

The present Doctoral Thesis focuses on the prevention of Cyberbullying within the educational context. After a research on the status of this matter and 21st century society regarding the use of ICT, we give a definition of the term cyberbullying that includes all the specific characteristics of the phenomenon, and a categorization of a glossary of terms that allows the curricular insertion, establishing a protocol of specific action of cyberbullying, destined to the educational centers and families. Taking into account the role of the educational psychologist, we present the design, implementation and evaluation of a cyberbullying prevention program for second and third cycle of Primary Education, arising from the needs detected by teachers, parents and students. This program inserted in the school curriculum, works both social and personal skills, as well as technological ones. The analyzes released for the assessment of the program confirm its effectiveness.
