Resumen

Our main objective in this work is to develop a mathematical model for collision avoidance between any number of aircrafts. We propose a large-scale Mixed 0-1 Linear Program in which only vertical maneuvers are allowed. Each aircraft is given xed start and end points, as well as a series of intermediate ones to traverse in its route; we also suppose that the trajectory between any two points is a straight line, however, this limitation is not necessarily a major drawback as any curve can be approximated by discretization. The objective is to decide the ight level and velocity that each aircraft must have at every time period, guaranteeing that collisions are avoided and minimizing fuel consumption and the total delay of the aircrafts' arrivals to their destination points.
