Resumen

In an increasingly competitive environment with data accessible from different sources, the values of official statistics should be highlighted to users. Quality, credibility and utility should be part of the communication strategy in order to make the official statistics more used and therefore, to increase their social value and contribute to economic development. The Spanish National Statistics Institute (INE) shows some communication strategies targeted to promote awareness and use of official statistics while working on assessing the impact of these actions
