Resumo

This article will study the “Epitalamio en las felices bodas de don Fernando de Guzmán y Acevedo y de doña Isabel de Zúñiga, Marqueses de Monterroso”, by Gabriel del Corral, published in Rome in 1630. The study analyzes some aspects, such as the context of elaboration, the structure, the content and the classic and contemporary sources used by the poet, also offers a modernized version of the poem.
