Resumen
In light of the significance of a new heritage arising from harrowing memories, professionals in the field of Preservation-Restoration need to employ new tools to address its preventive conservation in the phases of analysis and significance and the determining of criteria for intervention. To this end, the present paper proposes an analysis of individual items coinciding at the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp, based on two focal points, space and time –dispersal and encounter– and the following of a new holistic paradigm for their identification and preservation.
