Abstract

Obsolescence and extinction of many vital, social, politic and existential still current elements seems to be carried out by the global pandemic, solemnly taking minutes of the end of an age and watching in the mirror the merciless fragility of the human. Among them, school may be counted, as academic functional institution, already dying since late decades of XXth Century, breathing its late breath to became definitively into control dispositive and asylum, and to consolidate as guarantee of massive and intellectual impoverishment and viral spread of incompetence and fashionable myths, under blinding shelter of neon lights and demagogic performance of teaching digitalization, hybrid modality or bimodal education, minimization of in-person teaching and obligatory amusement. Conversion, from a theological root, as télos of education, has been reduced to diversion, vulgar psycologism, in the sense that Pascal finds in this word. The following proposal, appealing to analogy with Medicine, presents the grounds of a philosophical, clinic, materialist teaching, expressly placed in front of these two temptations that, by raising or hiding, falsify and obstruct the possible conditions of a scholar and academic strict teaching
