Abstract
A reexamínation is made of the process by which physico-athletic education is introduced into child's upbringing both at the practical level and with respect to the valúes and attitudes. This is followed by an analysis of two key points concerning the subject in question: first, a consideration of the margination which the educational goals of physical training have experienced; secondly, an examination of some aspects of behaviour and attitude on the part of the teacher that may contribute positively to the emergence of new didactic patterns.
