La formación integral en el ámbito universitarioun estudio empírico sobre la importancia de los valores y las actitudes ético-profesionales

Abstract

The university institution is a space whose mission is to transmit theoretical knowledge, teach practical skills, promote research, cultivate the spirit, guide the teaching-research and personal work, towards the search for Truth and Good. For this, the training in the classrooms has to attend to all the dimensions of the person, provide knowledge, technical skills and develop attitudes and values that shape the student as a good professional. Professional, who is able to know, understand, reflect and analyze his actions. For this, the university has the philosophical discipline of Ethics. Throughout this doctoral thesis, empirical evidence will be provided on the importance of 1) comprehensive training, 2) personal and professional values and 3) ethical-professional attitudes in the professional field, depending on the type of training that is received, the grade the students are in, and the gender. Specifically, it is expected that those students who receive specific training of a humanistic nature, who are in their last year and who are women, will give greater importance to these aspects...
