Abstract
This article analyses the association between the student’s previous educational path and the probability of university dropout; particularly shows how lower marks for admission to university, coming from the vocational education track or from public or subsidised private schools, increases the probability of dropout at the university level of education. Some reflections are made on these associations, and on the connection between the non university and the university levels of education.
