Resum

We propose to explore videomapping’s practices, uses and modes of circulation, through some aesthetic conditions such as monumentality and spectacularity, but also in their craft and postdramatic possibilities. The text briefly describes some technical aspects that place videomapping within a concept of expanded fields and as an agent that reformulates spatialities and temporalities. We address the memorial and propagandistic functions of videomapping through some examples such as American nations Independence commemorations made around 2010, and the presentation of the videomapping "Spain Heute" produced by Marca España in 2015. And we pose a particular position regarding the possibilities of the spectacular linked to the experience of the everyday, to a craft conception of production and to an aesthetic proposal not mimetic and not realistic but illusionist and abstract from the “Planetarium” exhibition of Luis Gárciga. And finally we propose a postdramatic dimension, associated with theatrical studies and especially to the conceptualizations of Hans-Thiel Lehmann, from the artwork titled "Wi-Fi point and line on the plane".
