Abstract

When thinking was thanking there was not theodicy, because this one, in order to be possible, need a moral view of the world i.e. the perception of injustice. This paper examines the presence of the theodicy in the western tradition and studies Kant's dissolution of theodicy into ethics just as a continuation of the ethics that made possible theodicy, the ethics that Weber called the pharisaic one.
