Gestión de la diversidad religiosa en los países árabes del Golfo : el caso del estado de los Emiratos Árabes Unidos como ejemplo

Resumo

The study focuses on a number of goals, including studying the management of religious diversity in the policies of the Arab Gulf countries with a focus on the United Arab Emirates, analyzing the historical situation, determining whether certain problems and challenges have arisen that hinder social and religious harmony and coexistence, analyzing the social situation with respect to religious diversity, and evaluating the policies, programs, decisions and the articles of the constitution enacted by the government to manage such diversity. The study also addresses the measures taken by the UAE to overcome the obstacles it encountered during the development of diversity and pluralism management programs. Finally, the study assesses the future needs of the decade between 2020 and 2030.The study has started from a main problem that can be summarized in the following two questions:- What are the policies and strategies established by the UAE to manage religious pluralism?- How is religious diversity managed in the UAE's politics? Indeed, these two problems have been divided into sub-questions, such as: (What are the reasons for the UAE enacting policies to manage religious diversity?), (How do the policies and laws of the UAE help to manage the religious diversity in it?), (How do Emirati institutions and administrations contribute to activating policies and strategic plans in the field of religious diversity?), (What is the role of the Ministry of Tolerance in managing religious diversity in the UAE?) And What is the role of international charters, agreements, policies and organizations in constructively and positively managing religious diversity in the UAE?..
