Abstract

The world food system has become globalized, reproducing the interests of the most industrialized countries, and accepting the dictates of the market as the only productive logic. The governments of other countries have lost control over their resources and agribusiness corporations have monopolized them. The result is a food security that does not guarantee sufficient or adequate food and at the same time is unsustainable.
