Résumé

With this study, we expect to understand some conceps as “martyr” or “martyrdom” from the use of the hagiographic texts, especially the Saint Servando and Saint German’s hagiographic legend, who lived, supposedly, between the third and fourth centuries. Also, with this investigation we will try to know if they truly lived when the legend says to us, if they were judged by Viator. Nevertheless the hagiographic legend has led to the emergence a kind of linkage between the Cadiz’s population and their Holy Patrons
