¿Escolarización o titulación? Análisis de la inserción laboral del alumnado de educación secundaria

Resum

Les transicions entre el sistema educatiu i el mercat laboral són un procés clau en la població jove. Aquest article investiga l’efecte relatiu del nivell educatiu aconseguit i de l’escolarització en edat postobligatòria en diferents mesures d’inserció laboral en les cohorts de nascuts entre 1996 i 1998. Per fer-ho, s’exploten les dades de l’última edició de l’Enquesta de Transició Educativo-Formativa i Inclusió Laboral, de l’Institut Nacional d’Estadística, publicada el 2019, a través de l’aplicació de models Logit. Els resultats assenyalen la major rellevància de la titulació a l’hora d’explicar els resultats en la primera etapa dels joves i les joves en el mercat laboral. A més, els que han romàs en el sistema educatiu en edats postobligatòries sense incrementar la seva titulació tenen unes possibilitats més reduïdes de trobar-se actius i ocupats i de tenir un contracte indefinit.
