Abstract

Organizations such as the Global Enterpreneurship Monitor (GEM) consider that entrepreneurial spirit is crucial for the economic development and well-being for society since it creates jobs, foster innovation, competition and increase productivity of a 861 country. On that sense, entrepreneurship is understood as the ability to translate ideas into actions. The importance that the different actors of civil society give to the entrepreneurship is a generally accepted fact and provide a continuous and abundant scientific production. Entrepreneurship education has acquired significant relevance in recent years, especially among young people. In the current crisis, encourage young people insertion in the work environment and improve their situation and conditions is a main task of the Government. On that line, the objective of this study is to know the spin-offs evolution and see its relationship with training programs in entrepreneurship in the Universities of Catalonia, Valencia and Madrid. The methodology used would consist in analyze this training offer and the spin-off list created through the institutional websites of the different universities, as well as information of science parks and business incubators.
