Resumen

The research project «Preventive conservation and the identification of risks in memory collections. Sustainable Strategies and Digital Technology» is structured around two main axes: sensitive heritage from tragic events and its preventive conservation in a traveling temporary exhibition, and all of this approached from a philosophy of social, economic and environmental sustainability. Knowing in depth the collections of sensitive objects, both for their significance and for their constituent materials, requires prior reflection for the construction of planning criteria and execution methods, also in accordance with the new advances in preventive conservation and general treatmentconsiderations of cultural heritage, such as the holistic perspective in its relation to the concept of sustainability. This article aims to present the progress of the research work, especially in its lastphases in which the development and design of computer software is planned to interconnect all the agents involved in the manipulation of memory collections. Especially the communities and museums to which the objects belong will have an active participation in this method to collect information and prevent risks in transit. Therefore, in the first place, it is intended to detect which are the questions to be answered and analyze their results in order to ensure that potential risk factors are identified in the exhibition life cycles. Secondly, and with the above information, it is intended to use digital technologies to improve communication processes, collect the necessary information systematically and in a standardized manner and be able to visualize and prevent risk situations. Digital tools and the internet help us to connect, withoutgeographical limitation, all the agents that participate in the cycle of a temporary exhibition.
