Docteure à l Universidad Complutense de Madrid avec la thèse Arte y videojuegos mecánicas, estéticas y diseño de juegos en prácticas de creación contemporánea 2012. Dirigée par Dr. Jaime Munárriz Ortiz.

Madrid-based researcher and lecturer on art, interactive systems and play culture. Currently she is Lead Program Coordinator of University Master's degree in Design UCM. She holds a PhD (Cum Laude distinction) in Interactive & Playful Arts and Experimental Game Design from Universidad Complutense de Madrid (2012) and an Associate Professor habilitation from Spanish Agency for Evaluation, Quality and Certification (Profesora Titular de Universidad, ANECA). She is founding member and play designer at artistic studio YOCTOBIT. She teaches interactive design & new media art at Universidad Complutense de Madrid’s Fine Arts School. She is also curator on playful arts and experimental game design (Ubik 2016, Not Games 2015, Playful & Playable 2010). Research areas: *New media art and design practices in confluence with critical thinking and/or speculative approaches. *Interactive & playful Arts, New Media Design, Experimental Game Design, Interactive Narratives, Speculative Design, Critical Practices, (Systems Theory, Game Studies, Critical Design, Performance Studies) *Practice-based research on experimental interaction design (games, computational and digital toys, speculative apps, interactive fiction, alternative controllers...) both from the software and hardware interfaces.
