ARROYO ALMARAZ

Professor of Spanish Literature; member of the Dept. of Hispanic Literatures and Bibliography, Departmental Section (Literature and Media), Faculty of Information Sciences, UCM. Specialist in 19th century Spanish literature related to the media (El Artista, Semanario Pintoresco Español, La Nación, República de las letras...), mainly on writers such as the Duque de Rivas and literary romanticism; Narcís Oller and peninsular literatures; Benito Pérez Galdós and realism, naturalism, within the framework of Hispanic classics. He has been a collaborating lecturer at a number of European and American universities, receiving various international distinctions and awards. Author of numerous articles, papers, chapters, books..., of which his most recent contributions are Spanish literature and the media, edt. Síntesis, 2016.
