Doctor by the Washington University in St. Louis with the thesis Tent Spaces Based on Weighted Lorentz Spaces- Carleson Measures 1990. Supervised by Dr. Mitchell Herbert Taibleson, Dr. Guido Leopold Weiss.
I was born in 1962, León (Spain). I am married with three daughters. In 1986, I obtained my Bachelor and M.Sc. degrees from the Complutense University of Madrid and in 1990 I got my PhD from Washington University, under the supervision of Mitchell Taibleson and Guido Weiss. In 1990, I returned to Spain with a Postdoc fellowship at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. From 1991 to 2011 I was an Associate Professor at University of Barcelona and a Full Professor during the period 2011-2019. Since 2019, I am a Full Professor at Complutense University of Madrid and in 2022 I was appointed Research Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics.
