Abstract
Translating Álvaro Cunqueiro's play The Uncertain Lord Don Hamlet, Prince of Denmark into English is not only part of exporting Galician culture into foreign literary systems, but it should also be considered as a high quality record to English speaking countries studies and Shakespearean reception. In this article, we will enhance on the importance of translating stage directions, as a defining factor in the play as a whole and its translation into English.
