Didactic research has highlighted the fact that students have comprehension difficulties and wrong ideas about the Water Cycle. This paper studies the illustrations shown in Primary Educations textbooks issued by well-established nationwide publishing houses. We try to disclose the possible connection between what the illustration show and the student interpretation of them, and to promote a discussion on its use among future teachers.
