Abstract

With the implementation of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), external academic practices are generalized in the degree and master's degree curricula, through which the aim is to bring the education system closer to the world of work: facilitating the acquisition of own competences from the work environment to the students, and contributing to increase the possibilities of a greater later labor insertion. On the other hand, there is an important boost of vocational training linked to higher education systems, where dual learning models are more important. The European project "Refining HE apprenticeships with Enterprises in Europe" (ApprEnt) addresses precisely this new phenomenon of dual learning forms in higher education. This paper presents the objectives, methodologies and results achieved during the first year of research, in order to extract lessons that facilitate the improvement of teaching and tutorial work, as well as the possible implementation of dual training in higher education.
