Entrepreneurship involves much more than stimulating individuals to create new business (Kuratko & Morris, 2018). In recent years, there has been a growing interest in the study of corporate entrepreneurship or entrepreneurship in established companies (Barney, Foss & Lyngsie, 2018). Entrepreneurial opportunities are important to corporate entrepreneurship research (Saemundsson & Candi, 2017) and involve a process of recognising, evaluating and exploiting them (Lim, Oh & De Clercq, 2016). Similarly, the literature explains the importance of entrepreneurship at the international level including studies that examine international entrepreneurial behaviours. These behaviours are oriented towards the recognition, evaluation and exploitation of international entrepreneurial opportunities (Mainela, Puhakka & Servais, 2014)...
