Resumo
Encuentros Creativos is a project in which students from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (UCM) and artists from the Carlos Castilla del Pino Occupational Center (Alcorcón, Madrid) share time and space for artistic creation, generating joint projects of equal to equal. The resulting works show a symbiosis between artists both groups, which allows us to see how artistic expression becomes a strong mediating tool, modifies pre-existing stereotyped concepts, favors multiple creative communications and empowers students. and the participants; which makes clear the capacity of Encuentros Creativos to promote the acquisition of the skills of the original studies by the participating students. In addition, we verified how in this experience, not only successful artistic proposals are generated, but also students are helped to find professional or academic paths, serving as a tool in the achievement of skills related to their studies.
