Tecnología y digitalización en la museografía, conservación y gestión de exposiciones itinerantes

Abstract

This work addresses the processes related to digitalization from a multiple perspective. Starting with the visitor experience and the attraction produced by the interactive and immersive expographic elements based on the digitized content, through the practice of museographic design and the digital resources applied in the creative process. It also addresses the development of digital software as a tool for the registration, conservation and management of collections from the point of view of a cultural service external to the museum institution, highlighting the importance of the management, recovery and visualization of documentary data by all the agents involved in the design, conservation and operations of an exhibition project. The analysis is focused on the typology of traveling exhibitions from theoretical reflections to their practical implication. Finally, the concept of sustainability is introduced, which will be crucial in making decisions about what and how to digitize.
