Doctor by the Universidad Complutense de Madrid with the thesis El proceso de construcción de imagen de marca en Internet una investigación aplicada a la creación de marcas en jóvenes 2002. Supervised by Dr. Juan Benavides Delgado.

Paloma Díaz Soloaga, PhD. is Professor of Intangibles and Fashion at Complutense University of Madrid, and expert in Organizational Culture and Brand Management. Author of more than 40 academic papers and the books "The New Woman: fashion and social change in the 20s" Ed. Villanueva 2020, "Introduction to Organizational Culture", Ed. Síntesis, 2019 and "How to Manage Fashion Brands ”, Gustavo Gili, 2014. Visiting researcher at Harvard, University of Illinois - Urbana Champaign, the FIT in NY and UCSD. She has been academic coordinator at Condé Nast College and Head of Area at ISEM Fashion Business School (Universidad Navarra). She directed the Diploma in Fashion Communication and Management at CU. Villanueva (2007-2016), of which she is now Honorary Director. Member of the Jury in "La Jolla International Fashion Film Festival", "Canadian International Fashion Film Festival" y "Madrid Fashion Film Festival". In 2020 she received the National Fashion Award from the Ministry of Industry.
