This paper analyzes the internationalization of Spanish industry, taking as its starting pointthe trade activity abroad of manufacturing firms. Forthis purpose, it studies the influence of size in their export activity and examines to what extent productdifferentiation strategies (both vertical and horizontal) affect export performance.
