Abstract

The increasing incidence of obesity and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD/NASH) currently represents a serious threat to global health, potentially leadingto an increase in the number of cases of advanced liver disease, cirrhosis and, ultimately,leading to hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).
